Athlete of the Week
The Sports Club, the Siuslaw News and Coast Radio Sports congratulate sophomore runner Ryan Jennings as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Ryan had a strong second place finish in last week’s Run for the Brownies. Coach Chris Johnson says that Jenning’s performances has helped to make the boys team relevant.
Jenning’s teammate, junior Brendon Jensen is this week’s honorable mention. Jensen finished first overall in last week’s run.
The Cross Country team will compete in the 4A Sky-Em District Championships this Thursday at Lane Community College in Eugene.
