Ems Win 2 of 3
Over the weekend the Eugene Emeralds went 2-1 against the Tri-City Dust Devils. On Friday night the Ems kicked it off with a 3 run second inning and the Dust Devils tied it up with one in the top of the 5th and 2 more in the top of the 7th, but the Ems came back with runs in the bottom of the 7th and 8th to win 5-3. On Saturday, the Dust Devils took a 6-0 lead in the 3rd inning and the Emeralds answered with a 3 run 4th, but couldn’t muster enough to get past the deficit. Tri-City took that game 7-4. Last night in Eugene the Ems and the Dust Devils matched runs in the 3rd and the 5th innings and stayed tied 3-3 until the bottom of the 9th when Ems scored the winning run to take the game 4-3.
The Ems and Dust Devils meet again this evening at PK Park. This evening is First Responder Appreciation night.
