Eugene Emeralds Hold Boise
Eugene pitchers allowed 9 hits last night but only let one run cross the plate. The Boise Hawks stranded 10 runners on the night while the Ems racked up 8 runs on 9 hits. 19 year old Kohl Franklin pitched 4 innings for the Ems giving up one run. The win went to 22 year old Tanner Dalton who is 1 and 0 on the season. The Hawks got their only run in the first inning and Eugene tied it up in the 3rd and then had a 4 run fourth to make it 5-1. The Ems added two more in the 8th and one in the 9th. final 8-1.
The Emeralds take the series 2-1. Next up for Eugene is a 6 game series against the Hillsboro Hops. The first three will be at home beginning this evening at 7:05 at PK Park.
