Canadians Top Ems

The Vancouver Canadians spanked the Eugene Emeralds last night at PK Park in Eugene.  Four Vancouver pitchers fanned out over nine innings to allow just 2 hits for the Ems.  The Canadians racked up 8 hits and 9 runs including a 2-run homer in the fifth inning.  They added 4 runs in the ninth inning for a total of 9 runs.  Final Score 9-nothing, Canadians.  The Emeralds stay at home for the next 3 nights to host the Salem-Kaiser Volcanoes and then hit the road on Saturday to meet with the Spokane Indians.
