JV Game Cancelled
The JV Football game scheduled at Marshfield for September 30th has been canceled. According to Siuslaw Athletic director, Chris Johnson, Marshfield does not have enough players. There are no plans to reschedule.
Meet Moved
Johnson also says that the Cross Country schedule has changed. The team will not be attending the meet in Portland on September 28th, but rather will participate in the Springfield Invitational on that same Saturday.
Lady Viks Season Opens
The Lady Viks are on the volleyball court in Cottage Grove for their Skyem League opener against the Lions. Games this evening get underway at 6:30.
Gridiron Viks Open at Home
Tomorrow evening the Vikings open up their home stand against Newport. The non-league game is scheduled for a 7 o’clock kick off at Hans Peterson Field.
