Ionescu: Wade Trophy Recipient
Yesterday Oregon Duck senior basketball star Sabrina Ionescu received the 2020 Wade Trophy for the second consecutive year. The award is given by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association to the top Division I national player of the year. Ionescu also earned her spot in the 10 player roster on the WBCA first team all-America. Two other Ducks also made the team, Ruthy Hebard and Satou Sabally. It is the first time in Duck history that multiple players received the honor.
