Today is the day when some school districts can determine what athletic programs will be allowed to take place on their properties. Under the stay home save lives order the directive was to keep school facilities closed through June 30th, but the Oregon Department of Education clarified that ruling as to mean the end of the school year. Siuslaw Schools final day of distance learning is May 29th which may affect the facilities availabilities. There has been no official word on any planned activities. Most of the fall sports will likely not report until Phase 3 of the reopening plan, and that will depend on any further executive orders that may come out of Salem.
