OSAA Contingencies
The Idea of moving Fall Sports to springtime is gaining momentum according to the Oregon Schools Activity Association, but the OSAA has stopped short of saying it is prepared to do so. What the OSAA has done is moved the date of the first contest of Football to September 23. OSAA Director Peter Weber says they want to exhaust all possibilities before making a move that drastic. The Executive Board plans to meet on August 3rd . Weber says they are looking at all types of models and nothing is off the table at this point.
Practice Still Suspended
Siuslaw Viking football practices are still currently on hold as coaches, staff and administration work on finding the safest way to continue with safety at the forefront.
