Players Opt for Transfer
There is a limited amount of new information about sports to report. One item of note is a story in the Oregonian that is reporting a trend of Oregon athletes transferring to Utah schools. Utah is currently playing high school football which saw 51 games played last Thursday and Friday. Several top state prospects from Westview High School in Portland were among the students transferring to Utah schools. Only one school in the entire state had to postpone their opening game due to the coronavirus. Utah teams have been working out throughout the summer and had 2 full weeks of full contact practices prior to last week’s openers.
