Rasmussen Major League Debut

Former Oregon State Beaver, Drew Rasmussen made his major league debut on Wednesday.  The Right-hander appeared in relief for the Milwaukee Brewers.  Rasmussen threw two scoreless innings and struck out 3 Minnesota batters.  The strikeouts came on a pair of 99 mph fast balls in the 7^th and a 97 mph fastball in the 8^th.  Rasmussen became the 38^th player in OSU history to make his major league debut.  He was called up last week.  He pitched in 27 minor league games prior to getting the call with a 3.16 era and struck out 96 batters in 74 1/3 innings.
