Former Oregon State Beaver, Drew Rasmussen made his major league debut on Wednesday. The Right-hander appeared in relief for the Milwaukee Brewers. Rasmussen threw two scoreless innings and struck out 3 Minnesota batters. The strikeouts came on a pair of 99 mph fast balls in the 7th and a 97 mph fastball in the 8th. Rasmussen became the 38th player in OSU history to make his major league debut. He was called up last week. He pitched in 27 minor league games prior to getting the call with a 3.16 era and struck out 96 batters in 74 1/3 innings.
