In light of the lack of live sports events the Oregon State Beavers are taking a look back 20 years to the 2000 Fiesta Bowl featuring the Oregon State Beavers and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Beaver’s head Coach Jonathan Smith was the quarterback for the historic win. Former Oregon Duck and current WNBA star with the Chicago Sky, Ruthy Hebard is seeing increased play. The Number 8 pick overall in last spring’s draft matched her career high with 11 points and six rebounds on Saturday against Seattle. Hebard is averaging 17 minutes per game over the last 5 games. Satou Sabally returned to the Dallas Wings after a 4 game absence and produced back to back double doubles to strengthen her bid for the Rookie of the Year. Sabrina Ionescu has been sidelined with an injury since July 31st.
