Pac-12 to Decide Fate of Football for Fall
Today is the day that the Pac-12 will officially decide on the 2020 college football season. There are still some restrictions in place in Oregon and California that might make it hard to get approval to move forward, but Pac-12 conference school presidents are hopeful that they can be worked out before an intended start at the end of October or the first of November. Stanford university has shown the most apprehension at beginning the season because it believes it sends the wrong message to those that are in school to study academics, since there will likely still be restrictions for in class study. Another issue uncovered by the pandemic is the occurrence of a cardiovascular condition called myocarditis. It has affected several players across the NCAA as well as some professional players including Boston Red Sox
