First Look At Hayward Field
Student athletes got a first look at the inside spaces at Hayward Field on the Campus of the University of 
Oregon on Friday. One of the recurring comments shared from the visit was “it’s amazing!” Ben Milligan is a senior High Jumper from Portland that said it was tough watching the old Hayward be demolished, but the new facility he says is “next level.” All the athletes said they are ready to make use of the new facilities.
Herbert’s Impressive Start
The LA Chargers are 1-3 overall and 0-3 with Justin Herbert at the helm, but he continues to impress coaches. Herbert, the former Duck QB had another huge day passing with 3 touchdowns and 290 yards in the air. Herbert did throw one interception that was considered the tide turner for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and ultimately led to the 38-31 loss. Herbert is sitting in while Charger QB Tyrod Taylor recovers from a punctured lung.
