Celtics Choose Pritchard
Former Oregon Duck, Payton Pritchard will be able to continue to sport green. Pritchard was selected in the first round of the NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. Oregon becomes the only college in the nation to have first round picks in the NBA, the NFL and the WNBA. Pritchard was the 26th pick overall. Pritchard joins Justin Herbert, Sabrina Iounescu, Ruthy Hebard and Satou Sabally in the professional ranks. Pritchard will join Celtic general manager Danny Ainge, who was born and raised in Eugene and was a multi-sport star at North Eugene High School.
