Ducks Drop in AP Poll
The Oregon Ducks Plummeted in the AP rankings after their loss to the Oregon State Beavers on Friday. The Ducks dropped to 21 after allowing the Beavers to score 22 points in the final quarter to take the newly named Rivalry 41-38. Duck Coach Mario Cristobal said that a game like this needs to sting and be used as fuel for future contests. The Beavers scored a touchdown on 4th down with 33 seconds left to stun the Ducks.
The Ducks next outing is scheduled for Saturday in Berkeley against the Cal Bears. The Beavers will meet with Utah who are struggling with 2 losses and 3 cancellations.
Lady Ducks Stun Redhawks
The Lady Ducks had their season premiere on the Court on Saturday and defeated the Seattle Redhawks 116-51 Taylor Mikesell led all ducks with 28 points and was 8 of 10 from the 3 point range. 4 other ducks were also in double figures.
