Ducks To Play In Fiesta Bowl
By now everyone should know that the Oregon Ducks are the Pac-12 Champions for the second straight. Friday was the Ducks fourth shot at being Pac-12 champs and they have won all 4 appearances. It was a game that almost wasn’t as the Ducks moved into position after the Washington Huskies had to drop out due to COVID-19. The Ducks were worthy of the Championship defeating the previously undefeated USC Trojans 31-24. The Ducks are now headed to Glendale Arizona for the Fiesta Bowl where they will meet 10th ranked Iowa State. That game is slated for Saturday, January 2 at 1pm. KCST will cover the game beginning at 11:30.
Beavers Fall to Sun Devils
Arizona State upset the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday 46-33 in Corvallis. The Beavers scored first with a 12 yard touchdown pass from Chance Nolan to Tyjon Lindsey at 8:56 in the first quarter, the Sun Devils scored quickly after to tie is and then went ahead 13-7 in the second quarter and never looked back.
Cougars Defeat Beavers
On Saturday the Oregon State Women’s basketball team was defeated by the Washington State Cougars 61-55 in Pullman.
Their game for today against Washington has been postponed.
Lady Ducks Remain Undefeated
The Oregon Ducks woman’s team was in Seattle on Saturday and remain undefeated after taking down the Huskies 73-49. Freshman Guard Sydney Parrish came off the bench to lead the Ducks in scoring with 18. The ducks are scheduled to take on the Cougars this evening from Pullman.
