Duck Women Rebound From Friday Loss
The California Golden Bears forgot to show up to their game against the lady Ducks of Oregon on Sunday. The visiting Ducks dominated the first half of the game and built a 31 point lead at halftime. Three Ducks led the scoring with 13. Nyara Sabally, Te-Hina PaoPao and Taylor Chavez. Final score in the thrashing was 100-41. The Lady Ducks are 9-2 on the season.
Ducks Victorious In Salt Lake City
The Duck Men were in Salt Lake City on Saturday to take on the Utah Utes. 4 starting Ducks were in double figures for the game with senior guard Chris Duarte leading the way with 25. The Ducks were down 10 at the half but went on a 14-5 run to open the second to come within one. The lead changed hands several times during the 4th quarter. The Ducks took the lead for the final time with 7:41 remaining and beat the Utes 79-73.
Beavers Still on COVID Protocol
The Oregon State Beavers are still in COVID protocol but are expected to be available for play in Thursday to face the Arizona Wildcats in Corvallis.
