Lady Ducks Focused
Duck women’s basketball coach Kelly Graves says the team is refocused as they return to action. Graves said he knew this season would be a rollercoaster after losing 3 of the top 10 draft picks to the WNBA, but he didn’t think the valleys would be so deep after last week’s loss to Arizona, but he says the team is talented and they will bounce back. He said it was difficult not getting the chance to get back on the court and avenge their loss due to the postponement of their game Sunday against Arizona State, but a refocused team is ready for Washington State this evening.
Rivalry Saturday
The 21st ranked Oregon Ducks men’s team will also try to get back on track as they host the Oregon State Beavers tomorrow. The Ducks hope to extend their home game win streak which is currently at 28. This is the 355 meeting for the two teams which is the most contested rivalry in college basketball. The Oregon State Beavers have defeated the Ducks 190 times over the series. The rivalry will be aired on both KCST and KCFM beginning tomorrow at 7 pm.
