Ducks Beat Cats
The Oregon Ducks walked into McKale arena on Saturday and stunned the Arizona Wildcats. The Ducks battled back and forth with the Cats with 7 lead changes and 9 ties. The low scoring game saw 3 Ducks with double figures being led by Eugene Omoruyi with 19. Chris Duarte’s 3 pointer with 17 seconds left in the game sealed it for the Ducks with a 63-61 victory.
Beavers Battle Sun Devils
The Oregon State Beavers were at Desert Financial Arena yesterday for a bout with the ASU Sun Devils. The Beavers never led in the game but tied twice. The final tie Sun Devil lead came with 37 seconds left in the game when ASU’s Remy Martin hit a 3-pointer to give the Sun Devils the lead for good. Final Score 75-73.
The Ducks and Beavers are scheduled to be back on the court on Thursday. The Beavers will take on the Utah Utes in Corvallis and the Ducks will host Colorado.
The lady Ducks are scheduled for a game against Stanford this evening at 6 pm and the Lady Beavers are expected to be back on the court Friday in L.A. against USC.
