Meet Rescheduled
Siuslaw High School’s first track meet for the season has been rescheduled to April 20th. there was a meet scheduled for this week, but due in part to the extension of the football season by one week, Athletic director Chris Johnson says there were not enough athletes ready for this week’s contest. The first two meets of the season will be held at Siuslaw High School.
XC Championships
This Saturday Siuslaw Cross Country athletes will compete in the Oregon 4A State Cross Country Championships that will be held at Marist High School. women’s races will begin at 11:15 am and the Men’s races will begin at noon.
Viking Football
Tomorrow night the Siuslaw Viking’s will take the field against Sutherlin. Sutherlin is in the 3A special district 2 south and is 2-1 on the season. Their last game scheduled against St. Mary’s in Medford was cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns. The game tomorrow will kick off at 7 pm with a 6:45 pregame on KCST.
Beaver Baseball
Tomorrow the OSU Beavers and the Oregon Ducks will match up on the Diamond. It is part of a 3 game series and can be heard on KCFM beginning at 6:30 pm.
