Vikings Double Up With Wins
The Siuslaw Viking boys are now 5-1 after defeating Elmira on Saturday 46-33. Brody Terry led the Vikings with 22 points including 6 3-pointers. The Vikings will host the league leading Junction city tigers on Tuesday which are 7-0 and 3-0 in the league.
The Siuslaw Girls also knocked down a victory defeating Elmira 32-28. Brea Blankenship scored 18 in the win to lead the Viks. The girls will also host Junction City on Tuesday.
Beavers End Season With Win
The Beavers did not want to end the season on a loss, after losing the first two games of the Stanford series on Thursday and Friday the Beavers came alive in Saturday’s game and drove in 9 runs on 13 hits and held the Cardinal to just 1 run on 6 hits. The Beavers finished the Pac -12 season with a 16-14 record and 34-22 overall.
Ducks Win in Final Game
The Oregon Ducks finished out their regular season with a win on Saturday defeating Cal in a close one 6-5. The Oregon Ducks will be hosting the NCAA Regionals. Regionals begin on Friday.
