Vikings Schedule
The Siuslaw Vikings take the court this evening in Cottage Grove. The Cottage Grove Lions boys team is currently 1-5 overall and 1-3 in league play. The Vikings are coming of a loss to the undefeated Junction City Tigers. Coverage of the game will begin at 5:30 on KCST and will include both the boys and girls games.
The Cottage Grove girls team leads the Sky-Em and is 4-0 in league play. Siuslaw’s game against Junction City was moved and the Viking girls posted their first win of the season on Saturday against Elmira.
College World Series Regionals
The Ducks and the Beavers will start their run for the title of College World Series Champions tomorrow. The Beavers will take on Dallas Baptist in Fort Worth Texas and the game will be broadcast on KCFM beginning at 10:30. The Oregon Ducks will be playing their initial games at home at PK Park. Play begins tomorrow at 2 pm.
Win – Expanded Seating Announced
The Eugene Emeralds won their second game against Vancouver last night breaking a 5-5 tie in the tenth innings winning 6-5. The Emeralds also announced that beginning on June 15th the park will institute a “vaccinated only, Mask free” section for individuals who will verify their vaccination status.
