Ems Comeback
The Eugene Emeralds managed a comeback win last night after the hops initiated the scoring with a 3 run second inning. The Ems quickly answered in the bottom of the inning. A pair of one run homers , one each in the 4th and 5th inning gave the Ems the lead which they would hold on to. The Ems scored 5 runs on 4 hits and held the Hops to 4 runs on 7 hits. The Ems are still 5.5 games out of first with a 39-28 record. The league leading Aquasox are keeping the Ems at bay continuing to win in their outings. The Ems will have a chance to move up in the standing as they will meet the Aquasox for a 7 game stand beginning next Tuesday in Eugene.
