Ems Fall Another Game Back
The Eugene Emeralds slipped another game back in the High A West League standings last night as the Everett Aquasox held off the Ems late in the game. The Ems led 3-2 in the top of the 5th inning until the Aquasox tied it with a home run by Jake Anchia. The Sox added another run in the bottom of the 6th and the Ems came back in the top of the 7th with a homer by Brett Auerbach. A line drive double in the bottom of the 7th scored Sox’s Kaden Polcovich leading to a 5-4 win for the Sox. The teams take the field again today at 5 pm for a double header in Everett.
