Ems Win
The Eugene Emeralds picked up a game on the league leading Everett Aquasox last night. The Ems opened their series against the Tri-City Dust Devils at PK Park and took a commanding 7 run lead into the top of the 6th inning when Ems pitching gave up four runs, but the Ems shot back with a Grand Slam in the bottom of the 7th inning by Sean Roby, his 10th homer of the season. Ems win 11-4. The Aquasox were defeated by the Spokane Indians bringing the Ems within 6 ½ games. The Ems Series continues this evening at 7:05 in Eugene.
