Cottage Grove Overtakes Vikings
The Viking girls came out on fire last night as they took on Cottage Grove. Coach Kari Blake said the first two sets the girls were covering the court and pounding the ball at the Lions, but the third set the Vikings got behind and struggled to stay in it. The girls got close in the fourth set but couldn’t pull it out and fell flat according to Blake in the 5th set. Desi Tupua had 17 kills on the night with 5 serving aces, 20 digs and 6 blocks. Mylee blake had 14 kills and Hailee Outlaw had 10. Rhianna Lane led the team with 7 blocks. The team faces Marist next for another home match on Thursday.
