Viking Volleyball
The Siuslaw Viking Volleyball team was on the court last night and rebounded from Tuesday night’s defeat by beating Marist in straight sets. Coach Kari Blake said it was a concerted effort by the entire team as 13 varsity players saw court time last night. Freshman Mylee Blake led the team with 10 kills followed by Desi Tupua with 7. Freshman Rhianna Lane contributed 5 blocks to the victory.
Viking Football
Siuslaw Viking football will face LaPine this evening from Hans Petersen Field beginning at 7 pm. KCST will broadcast the game beginning at 6:45. LaPine is coming off a 42-6 thrashing of Pleasant Hill last week and is looking to spoil the viking’s 4-0 start.
Cross Country
Tomorrow Viking Cross Country will be at Philomath High School for the Paul Marriman Invitational
College Football
The Oregon ducks are off this weekend and the Oregon State Beavers will head to Pullman Washington for a game against the cougars. That will air on KCFM beginning at Noon.
