Viking Volleyball
The Viking Volleyball team had a tough battle on their hands last night against Junction City. Coach Kari Blake said the girls came out strong and fast taking the first two sets 25-15 and 26-16, but then Junction City rebounded. Blake says she really could not pinpoint where things changed, but Junction City took the next three sets for a 3-2 win against the Vikings. Desi Tupua led the Vikings with 12 kills, 10 blocks and 7 serving aces. The Vikings are 6-3 in league play and 13-7 overall. They face the league leading Lions tomorrow in Cottage Grove

Tonight the Viking soccer team will travel to Cottage Grove. Tomorrow the Viking Cross country team will host the annual run for the Brownies beginning at 4:30.
