Ducks Fall to St. Marys
The Oregon Ducks were defeated in the second round of the Maui Invitational. St Mary’s had come off the win over Notre Dame and kept on rolling as they faced the Ducks last night in Las Vegas. St. Mary’s had 4 players in double figures and held the Ducks to just 50 points. Eric Williams Junior led the Ducks with 13 and was the only player to make double figures. The Loss means the Ducks face Houston today at 11:30. Pregame on KCST will begin at 11:00.
Viking Championship
This Saturday’s State Championship game between the Vikings and the South Umpqua Lancers will begin on KCST at 10:30. Fans that plan to attend the game in Cottage Grove will not be required to wear masks. The OSAA is following the states removal of the mandate. School athletics and other school activities has been running under different guidelines established by the Oregon Department of Education when it comes to certain aspects of mandates and regulations. They are still recommending wearing masks in extremely close situations.
