Game Cancelled
According to Siuslaw athletic director Chris Johnson the boys basketball game between Siuslaw and Pleasant Hill had to be postponed indefinitely and practice was cancelled last night due to some players being sick. The Girls game will go on as scheduled though. It has not been determined if the illnesses will effect Friday’s game against Monroe.
Sailors vs Umpqua Valley
The Mapleton Sailors were on the Court last night. The sailor boys lost to Umpqua Valley Christian 56-45. Senior Joe Shepard led the Sailors with 23 points. Sophomore Keevyn Walker added 9 points and freshman Alex Burnett scored 6.
The Sailor Girls were also on. They were defeated by Umpqua Valley Christian 45-31. Senior Opal Burress finished with 19 for the Sailors.
