Puddle Jump 5K
Coastal Fitness will hold its coastal Fitness Puddle Jump 5k tomorrow morning at 10 am. the walk/run includes an optional puddle jumping obstacle course at the end of the run. The event promises fun and prizes. It is a rain or shine event celebrating Coastal Fitness’ 30 years in Florence.
Duck Loss
The Oregon Duck stayed fairly close with the Colorado Buffalos until late in the game yesterday afternoon. A late run by the Buffalo sealed their victory. The Ducks were within two with 8:49 left in the game. Final score 80-69. The Ducks will now await the postings for the NIT tournament. They will be released on Sunday.
OSU Baseball
The Oregon State Beavers baseball team are in Pullman Washington today to begin a 3 game series against the Cougars. Pregame on KCFM will be at 2:30. The Beavers are 9-1 as they begin Pac-12 play.
Viking Baseball
The Siuslaw Vikings baseball and softball will begin on Tuesday. The boys begin with a double header at Sutherlin beginning at 2:30. Coast Radio will cover the second game of the double header beginning at 4:15. The Lady Vikings will also be at Sutherlin with games beginning at 2:30.
