Vikings Baseball
The Siuslaw Viking will host Creswell in pre-season baseball today at Jiggs Dodson Field. The game is scheduled for a 5 pm first pitch. Creswell is 3-2 in preseason and met with Junction City yesterday and was defeated 17-3. The Vikings are coming off a loss to the number one team in the state where they showed they can compete at a higher level. The Vikings are currently 5-4 in preseason.
Viking softball has completed its pre-season roster and will be on the field on Tuesday to start league play against Marist Catholic.
Beavers Beat Pilots
The Oregon State Beavers were on the diamond yesterday in Hillsboro to face the Portland Pilots. The Beavers held the Pilots to 1 run on 5 hits and while managing 5 runs on 7 hits. The Beavers start a three game series against the Trojans of USC tomorrow with a 6pm first pitch and a 5:30 pregame on KCFM.
Ducks/Ball State
The Oregon Ducks will start a 4 game series tomorrow against Ball State.
