Candidate Seeking 4th District Seat

4th District Candidate for Congress, Doyle Canning says she is ready to represent all Oregonians.

“We Need a candidate who is standing strong and consistent in progressive values, a dirt road democrat who has support in rural Oregon.”

Canning says she supports efforts in conservation and Climate issues but she says she knows the importance of working together with the logging industry to find consensus.  Canning is a graduate from UO Law School and has worked with the United Nations and with Congress.

“There’s real work that we need to do to protect property and to protect lives from the risk of wildfire that is exacerbated by the droughts that we are seeing caused by Climate Change.”

There are 8 democrats vying for the seat in the upcoming primary along with one Republican candidate, Alex Skarlatos.
