Late Night for the Beavers
The Oregon State Beavers had to wait until 10:15 last night to take the field against the Cal Bears. The Stanford Cardinal-Arizona Wildcat game lasted until 9:36 pm. 23 runs were scored in the game lasting 4:24 minutes with Stanford defeating Arizona 15-8. The Beavers got their chance to play late and managed to get 3 runs in holding the Bears to just one run. The Beavers will now get a rest day today but will return to the field on Saturday in the early afternoon to play the winner of the UCLA California game today.
Ducks Eliminated
The Oregon Ducks were eliminated from the Pac-12 tournament yesterday with a 4-2 at the hands of the other Arizona team, the ASU SunDevils. The Ducks took a two-one lead in the fourth but relinquished it in the 6th inning when the SunDevils Kai Murphy hit a two run homer to give ASU a 3-1 lead. The SunDevils would add one more in the 8th.
