Former Ducks Score Spot at Track and Field Championships; More Oregon State Accolades

Former Ducks Score Spot at Track and Field Championships

Three former Oregon Ducks have qualified for the 2022 World Athletic Championships to be held in Eugene next month.  Devon Allen competes in the 110 meter hurdles and says he is still adjusting to a new starting technique and finished third in yesterday’s competition.  Jenna Prandini was commanding the 200 meter race but fell off at the end to finish third with a time of 22.01. Raevyn Rogers also took third in her signature event the 800 meters in 1:57.96.  all three athletes say it is great to be back on the field that started their college careers.  Rogers says she is particularly excited to be back and hopes that she can realize the expectations she and others have.  She says being a Duck is a lot of pressure in itself, and wants to make everyone proud.

More Oregon State Accolades

Oregon State Athletes continue to receive accolades.  This time pitcher Ben Ferrer has been added to the duo of pitcher Cooper Hjerpe and outfielder Jacob Melton as all three were honored by D1 Baseball.com on Friday.  It is Ferrer’s first honor and now 6 for Hjerpe and Melton.
