Ems Drop 4th Opener

The Eugene Emeralds opened their 6 games series against Hillsboro on the 4th of July falling to the Hops 5-3.  The hops led the game from the bottom of the first inning scoring twice and then twice again in the second to take a 4-1 lead.  The Ems added 2 in the 4th but could not mount any more offense. A sac fly in the 6th brought in the final run for the hops to solidify the win.  The Ems are off tonight and resume the series tomorrow.
