The Eugene Emeralds finished up their series with the Spokane Indians last night. After winning on Friday and Saturday night 8-1 and 6-2 respectively the Ems were poised to take the series from the Indians, but Spokane had a different scenario in mind. The Ems led early 4-3 after a pair of doubles accounted for 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning. The Indians added a single run in the 6th and took the lead in the top of the 7th. the game ended with a strike out by the Ems. The Ems resume league play on Friday against the Everett Aqua Sox.
