Sports Camps
The fall sports season is quickly approaching with athletes getting ready for cross country, soccer, volleyball and football. Camps begin tomorrow for soccer and football respectively ending a one week moratorium on interaction between athletes and coaches. Strength conditioning and fundamentals will be the focus.
Ems Back on Top
The Eugene Emeralds finished out their 6 game series with the Hillsboro Hops over the weekend with 3 straight wins. 5-4 on Friday, 10-4 on Saturday and 9-1 on Sunday. The Ems are now back on top of the Northwest League after passing the Vancouver Indians. The Ems lead by a half game and will begin a 6 game series in Spokane on Tuesday before meeting with the Indians next week.
