Viking Soccer
The JV boy’s soccer for today has been cancelled, but the Varsity game against Sweet Home is slated to be played at 6pm at Hans Petersen Field. The girls soccer game against Sweet Home will be on the road at 6 pm.
Viking Volleyball
Siuslaw Volleyball will be on the road tomorrow to face Marshfield. That game will be played at 10am.
Eugene Emeralds
Luis Matos hit his 10 home run on the season for the Ems last night helping them to a 5-3 victory over the Tri-City Dust Devils. A loss by the Vancouver Canadians to the Hillsboro Hops gave the Ems a 2.5 game lead in the league heading onto the final two weeks of the season for the Northwest league. The Ems will play tonight and finish out the 6 game series on Sunday.
