Viking Soccer
The Siuslaw Viking soccer team went up against East Linn Christian last night. The Vikings kept the ball on the Eagles side of the field for most of the first half. Ray Brito Xilot scored first for the Viks to take a 1-0 lead. The eagles responded late in the half to even the score. Each team would add two more goals in the second half with the scored tied 3-3 at the end of play.
The Viking girl’s soccer team fought to a 2-2 tie against Elmira.
This completes the season for soccer.
Viking Volleyball
Siuslaw Viking Volleyball is ranked 10th as they enter into the final match of the regular season. The Vikings host Pleasant Hill this evening at 6:30. Win or lose the Vikings will likely have a playoff game on Saturday against Creswell according to Siuslaw athletic director Chris Johnson
Mapleton Volleyball
Mapleton Volleyball will have their final regular season game this evening at Crow beginning at 6pm.
