Cross Country
The Siuslaw Cross Country team will be in Eugene tomorrow for the State Championships. According to Siuslaw Athletic Director and the teams coach Chris Johnson it will be a good challenge for the team.
“You know we know we have our work cut out for us. Having 3 classifications all in the same state meet that’s unprecedented water for us. And there’s a lot of good girls teams in the lower classifications and a lot of good coaches so we’re ready to go and we’re fired up and we’ll do the best to defend our state championship on that side.”
Johnson was speaking specifically to the girls team, but he says the boys are pumped and ready to go with what he says could be several in the top ten at tomorrow’s meet.
Football Playoffs
Tomorrow the Viking football team will be ready to meet Vale High School for the chance to move forward in the football playoffs. The game will be aired on KCST beginning at 11:45.

Volleyball
This afternoon the Viking volleyball team will face Creswell beginning at 3:15 t his is a quarterfinal match and the winner will face either Burns or Santiam Christian t his evening at 8:30 pm.
College Football
The OSU Beavers will be in seattle this evening to face the Washington Huskies. That game will air on KCFM beginning at 6:30. The Oregon Ducks will air on KCFM tomorrow with the pregame beginning at 11 am.
