Mapleton Track and Field
The Mapleton Track and field team competed yesterday at McKenzie High School. Sailor senior Tristan Stewart tossed a personal best of 84’6.5” in the javelin with a 4th place finish. Sophomore Evelynn McMaster finished second in the shot put with a PR toss of 21’5.5”, third in the Discus with a PR 56’3” and fourth in the javelin at 47’5.5”.
Hayward field is hosting a special relay event for high schools. It will be taking place today and tomorrow in Eugene. Siuslaw High school is scheduled to have a team compete.
College Baseball
The Oregon State Beavers will be in Tempe this evening to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils for the beginning of a three game series. The action will be covered by KCFM beginning at 6pm. Game two tomorrow evening will also be live at 6pm and Sunday’s game will begin at Noon.
The Oregon Ducks will be in Berkeley. This evening’s game will be at 7:05. tomorrow’s game will be at 2:05 and Sunday’s game will begin at 12:05.
