Viking Baseball
Today the Siuslaw Vikings will finish up league play at home against the Pleasant Hill Billies. The three game series began Tuesday in Pleasant Hill with the Billies taking game one. Today the Vikings hope to secure a better playoff position by taking the final two games. Today’s double-header will be broadcast on KCST and on the station’s Facebook page. Pregame will begin at 1:45.
The Viking Softball team will also finish up league play today against Pleasant Hill. Their game will begin at 2 pm.
Viking Track and Field
Today is the Wally Ciochetti invitational in Cottage Grove. The competition will begin at 2 pm this afternoon.
College Baseball
The Oregon State Beavers are not yet looking ahead to the Pac-12 Tournament in baseball. First they have to face the UCLA Bruins in L.A. this will be their final Pac-12 match-up before the tournament. games this weekend will be broadcast on KCFM. Tonight’s game will begin at 6:30 with tomorrow’s game at 5:30 and Sunday’s game at 11:30.
The Oregon Ducks still have two series left on their Pac-12 schedule. First up are the Washington Huskies this weekend at PK Park. Game one will be this evening at 7:00. Game two will be tomorrow at 6:00 and Sunday’s game will be at Noon. They will finish up Pac-12 with Utah next week.
