Survey
Travel Lane County is looking for feedback on whether or not residents in Lane County including western Lane County attend sporting events. This includes high school sports, club sports, adult basketball competitions, martial arts competitions, track meets or even 5k runs and marathons. The Eugene based Turell Group is conducting the survey. It is a quick 2 minute questionnaire seeking information that, based on the questions, is looking to see the viability of facility that supports indoor sporting activities. For participating in the survey the Turell Group will also donate $1 to charity for every person who completes it. You can take the survey yourself at survey monkey.
Baseball Honors
Four Oregon Ducks have received ABCA All-Region honors for baseball. Shortstop Drew Cowley, pitcher Josh Mollerus, DH Drew Smith and starting pitcher Jace Stoffal. One Oregon State Beaver received ABCA All-Region honors. Second baseman Travis Bazzana.
Last Hurrah
This weekend will be the last competition for several Siuslaw graduates. Sam Ulrich, Hunter Petterson, and Jacob Blankenship are part of the 4X400 relay team competing this Saturday at the Nike Outdoor Nationals. The fourth member of the team Raymundo Brito-Xilot will be a junior this coming school year. Ulrich will also compete in the 2k Steeplechase tomorrow.
