The Vancouver Canadians widened their lead over the second place Eugene Emeralds last night at PK Park in Eugene.  The Ems are now 4.5 games back of Vancouver.  The Canadians scored 11 runs on 15 hits. In the 5th inning they scored 7 runs on 7 straight hits to take a 10-1 lead.  The Ems scored 4 on 7 hits.  There are 5 more games left in the series with game two this evening.  The Ems would have to win all 5 remaining to take over the first place spot.

OSU Hall of Fame Inductees

Oregon State University will induct 11 members into their Hall of Fame this year including the 2006 softball team that reached the College World Series with a record of 43-16 and the 2016 Women’s Basketball Team that reached the final four.  The Team went 32-5 that season with a 16-2 Pac 12 record.
