The Vancouver Canadians continue to be a thorn in the Eugene Emeralds side.  The Ems traveled north for a three game series over the weekend and couldn’t best the league leading Canadians.  Eugene on Friday lost 4-2, Saturday 12-3 and last night as they wrapped up their stint they had a 3-2 lead going into the bottom of the 9^th when designated hitter Devonte Brown hit a three run home run to end the Ems hopes.  The Ems now put their attention on Hillsboro.  They face the Hops for a 6 game series in Hillsboro beginning tomorrow.
