Ems Loss
The Eugene Emeralds had 5 hits one error and no runs last night in Pasco Washington against the Tri-City Dust Devils. The Dust Devils, however, had 12 hits and scored 5 runs. Tri-City’s Sammy Natera Jr. had 11 strikeouts in 7 innings allowing only 4 hits. The Ems fall to 0 and 2 in the current 6 game series with another game planned this evening.
Hall of Fame
The Siuslaw Hall of Fame induction ceremony is planned for Friday August 11th at the Florence Events Center. Siuslaw High School Athletic Director Chris Johnson says he would love to see a great turn out for the new Hall of Fame Members. The program will honor 8 Siuslaw alumni. Doors open at 5 pm and the event is $20 and includes a taco bar.
