Viking Soccer
The Siuslaw Viking Boys Soccer Team hosted East Linn Christian Academy last night at Hans Peterson Field. It was a tight game in the first half with the Vikings taking a 2-1 lead. The Second half the Vikings pressed the Eagle hard and took 15 shots on the net with 6 goals. Holding the eagles scoreless in the second half for the 8 – 1 victory. Derrick Van Duch scored a hat-trick for the Vikings. Viking Girls soccer lost to Sisters 4-0.
Mapleton Volleyball
The Mapleton Sailors Volleyball did a good job against Mohawk last night according to coach Molly Dooley, though Mohawk defeated the Sailors in straight sets.
Viking Football
The Siuslaw Vikings football team is on the road this evening. They will face Elmira. KCST will cover the game beginning at 6:45 with a 7pm kickoff.
Cross Country
Viking Cross Country will be on the road. The Harrier Classic will be held in Bryant Park Oregon with competitions for Varsity beginning at 2:10 pm.
Viking Volleyball
Viking Volleyball fell short last night in La Pine falling to the Hawk in straight sets. They host Creswell next on the 9th.
College Football
The Oregon State Beavers will be in Berkely tomorrow for a game against the Cal Bears. Pregame on KCFM will begin at 6pm.
This is a by week for the Oregon Ducks. They face Washington next on the 14th.
