Viking Boys Over Boomers
After a close half of basketball at Glen Butler Court last night the Siuslaw Vikings poured the pressure on Toledo and broke away to take a commanding lead in the second half. The Vikings outscored the Boomers 76-41 with Andrew Jensen Norman leading the Vikings with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Gabe Deleon had 7 assists and Landon Curley added 5.
Viking Girls Battle
The Viking girls fell to the boomers 33-47. The Vikings had a strong showing through the first half but only managed 4 points in the third quarter which put them far behind. Toledo solidified their lead in the third and held off the Viking girls in their home opener.
The Vikings are back on the court tomorrow evening to face North Valley at home. Game time is 6:15 with a 6pm pregame on KCST.
