Sports Schedule – Siuslaw
The sports schedule begins to fill up tomorrow with three events. The Viking Track and Field team will head to Sutherlin for the MVC JV meet and the Viking baseball and softball teams will host La Pine for double header action. Viking baseball will air on KCST beginning at 1:45 with a 2 o’clock first pitch and the second game will are about 4:30. There will be a news break between games.
Viking softball will also play at 2 pm and 4:30
Duck Revenge
The Oregon Ducks got their revenge on the Portland Pilots last night in Portland. The Duck spattered 8 hits and brought 7 across the plate while holding Portland to just four runs. But it was the Pilot’s 5 errors in the game that played heavily in the win. The Ducks now head to California to meet UCLA on Friday.
OSU Over Bulldogs
The Oregon State Beavers had 3 multi-run innings capping it with a 6 run 6th inning. Gavin Turley was 3 for 5 from the plate and got the scoring started in the first with a solo Home run. Jacob Krieg also homered in the six with 2 RBIs. The Beavers now look to Arizona State who they will host beginning on Friday.
